First Ultrasound!!!

My heart is overwhelmed with so much joy and excitement for M&M. Today marks 6 weeks and 5 days into this pregnancy. We had our first ultrasound to check on the two little embryo's that were implanted just over four weeks ago.

8 Cell - 3 Day Embryo's

Aren't they beautiful!?!!

Do you see what I see????!!!!

TWINS!!!

M&M are THRILLED and very EXCITED for this journey! As am I!! They were able to Skype into the appointment and see everything first hand! It all went so fast! Dr. B scanned right to the first baby and started measuring. Baby A is measuring right on track at 6weeks/5days and heart beat was a great 125bpm. For a moment I wasn't so sure there were two. I could see a small shadow below the first sac but I am not an expert at black and white fuzzy screens, so wasn't so sure! Then he moved it down to the left and announced " TWINS! " I was shaking and had chills! Baby B is measuring ahead as of right now at 7weeks/1day. The minute we heard the second heartbeat tears starting streaming down my face! Another strong heartbeat at 129bmp. I immediately felt so connected to my wonderful IP's in a way that is indescribable! My intution knew there would be twins from the very beginning and to see them both, it was an absolutely incredible moment!

I Skype'd following the appointment with my IP's again! Then called my husband, who it so thrilled for us all and my biggest supporter! Then of course called my parents who are across the world living in The Netherlands! So much love and support - it is just amazing!!!  Happy tears were flowing the whole way home from our appointment! I am overwhelmed with so much love!!!

I cannot help but feel the infinite love of my Heavenly Father and Savior. He has entrusted me to be a vessel for this wonderful and deserving family. Every step of this process has been nothing but short of amazing and absolutely perfect! This is a journey that I know we were prompted to do as a family and have been so amazed how the Lord can blessed us along the way. Three years ago a dream of mine is now a reality and it is simply beautiful in every way!

Monday I received a packaged from my wonderful Intended Mother. She gave me a beautiful pair of earrings with blue stones that represent good luck and to fight off any harm. She also sent a bracelet with a beautiful Star of David and she has a matching one she wears!! I wore both to our appointment today and I absolutely love them!

So beautiful, right?!!

Our next ultrasound is in three weeks! Cant wait to see these little M&M's bouncing around!!

I thank all of my family and dear friends for the love and support!

Beta Beta Beta

It was a long wait and although we knew the Beta (hcg level blood test) would be the best confirmation of pregnancy…. The 10 days of waiting was brutal so I surprised M&M by taking an at home pregnancy test!!

The numbers mean ( # Days Past 3 Day Transfer)
It was fun to see the line get darker by the day!!

First beta 2/27/15 (10dp3dt)
Second beta 3/2/15 (13dp3dt)
Third beta 3/4/15 (15dp3dt)

The levels are very consistent and strong! Doubling just about every 43 - 55 hours!!! Things are moving right along just PERFECTLY!!
Couldn't be more excited for M&M and their family!!

We know its still early in the pregnancy and anything can happen but we are hopeful and overwhelmed with joy! Thank you for the support and love!

I started another medication on Saturday and I am not a fan! I will save you the details!! On a more positive note, I was able to decrease my Progesterone injection from 2ml to 1ml on Sunday! YAY!!! They were really happy with my beta today and so are we!
With being able to decrease my meds, my body is able to keep right up!

Q: How do I feel?
A: GREAT!!! Tired… but feel really good so far!

Saturday marked 4 weeks. M&M haven't had the best experiences with their pregnancies and deliveries, so I am so blessed to give them a healthy and exciting 9 months to come!!

The ultrasound is scheduled for March 19th in the morning!! Marking 6 weeks and 5 days - we hope to hear a heartbeat if not TWO!!

This is going to be a great year!!

My dear friend Stacie loves the Israeli culture and got us both matching Hamsa charms to wear for our upcoming ultrasounds. Hamsa is a good luck symbol to warn off any harm. I love the symbolism the Israeli's have and its so important to me to have something that is so important to them!

Stacie had her transfer last Wednesday! I brought her the amazing Chocolate Chunk Pizookie "Sticky" treat!! It was great to chat and talk about the transfer!

With both of us post transfer now, I cant wait to get these made and get back to the gym with our growing bellies!! How cute are these? I crossed out "stay" and put "Stick"
Do you get it?! haha!!!

Dark chocolate is my weakness in life and this weekend I knew we had some of these yummy barkTHINS with sea salt in the pantry!!! I opened the pantry door only to find an EMPTY BAG!!! Who does THAT?!!! I told Stacie and not even an hour later she sent me a message saying "Knock knock!"

She wrote me a beautiful card and got me a bag of the barkTHINS!!! I was in tears by the end of the card and grateful for a little chocolate to snack on! She is such the BEST #surrosister EVER!!!
I cannot imagine this journey with out her support and passion about this journey! ADORE HER!!!!

This journey thus far has exceeded my expectations! I adore my IP's and couldnt have asked for a better family to bless! I feel so grateful to have such an amazing support system! Couldnt have done this without my family and friends!

Again - Thank for you for following and contiuning to support
us through this amazing journey!!

Ashley Dawn
